From the Desk of the Rector of the Cathedral of Christ the King
Please note, during the summer we will not have the 7:15 PM Sunday Mass nor evening confessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Mass Location Change
On this Thursday, June 20th, the 5:30 PM Mass will be in the Cathedral as we celebrate the
25th Anniversary of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel
at Christ the King. All are welcome to join for Mass followed by a half hour of adoration.
Since 1994, someone has been in prayer on our campus for every hour of the day. That's a total of almost 219,000 hours of ongoing prayer.
We thank all of our guardians for their dedication to prayer. We could not have perpetual adoration available without your service.
The Eucharistic Congress is next weekend!
Friday - Saturday, June 21-22 at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Each year the Eucharistic Congress brings together Catholics from across the archdiocese and the country to celebrate the visible, living presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The theme of the 2019 Eucharistic Congress comes from Luke 22:19, "This is my body given up for you." Let's welcome the Lord, who gave His life for us, into our hearts. Let's allow Jesus to transform us, so we can become His hands and feet to go out into the world and spread the Good News.
