This week, we invite Fr. Thomas McCarthy to campus. He, like the Holy Father, is an Augustinian priest. He is also a long-time friend of the Holy Father. He will present a two-day mission on living out our faith: being more holy like the saints, praying effectively, and how to feel like a part of a parish family. See below.

P.S. For several weeks, we have been waiting for parts to arrive to repair the air conditioning unit that serves the Cathedral. Those parts are currently scheduled to arrive the first or second week of October.

What Does It Mean to be Catholic Today?

October 5-6 • After 12:10 PM Mass and 7:00 PM.

Being a Catholic is more important than ever! Fr. Thomas McCarthy, an Augustinian and friend of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, presents a two-night mission exploring how to be Catholic in today's world. He'll talk about the saints and how we can become one, how God listens to us in prayer, and how to build up our parish family.

Pick a session to attend each day! We’ll hold the same talk each day after the 12:10 PM Mass and at 7:00 PM. Monday's evening session includes Confessions; Tuesday's evening session includes Mass.

Saturday, October 3, 10:30 AM-11:00 AM.

Join us in the Hyland Center courtyard for a short prayer service celebrating our best friends. All animals on-leash or in-carrier welcome. Plush animals, too!

Rain location: The forecast for tomorrow morning is overcast and dry! In the event of inclement weather, the event will be in the bottom floor of the parking deck.

Winter Woolies Clothing and Food Drive

October 3-4 on the Plaza.

Help Saint Vincent de Paul provide warm clothing and basic food items for Atlantans in need. A truck will be parked in front of the Cathedral accepting donations after all Masses.
