Today, with Mayor Andre Dickens and Bishop Ned Shlesinger, we invited the Atlanta first responder community to remember those lives lost on September 11, 2001. We pray for the repose of their souls, and honor the sacrifices of those who responded to the crisis.

Communion Services Tuesday, September 15-Thursday, September 17. The priests of the Archdiocese will be at a priestly convocation these three days. Confession will not be held on Tuesday or Thursday morning. Deacons will provide communion services at our regular Mass times. Communion services include the regular readings, homilies, and the reception of Holy Communion.

Stephen J. Binz, author of Threshold Bible Study: Handel’s Messiah, and Dr. Michael Accurso, Director of Music and Liturgy at the Cathedral, will explore the remarkable marriage of biblical text and musical composition that makes Handel’s Messiah one of the most powerful sacred works ever created.

In this weekly study, scholars and guest musicians will reveal the Scriptural inspiration and musical genius of one of the greatest classical works of all time. The Messiah Bible Study includes one ticket for the Cathedral's performance of Handel's Messiah on either Sunday, December 13, or Tuesday, December 16.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Thursday, September 24, 2:00-7:00 PM.

At our July blood drive, donors provided enough supplies to impact up to 175 patients in need! Your personal donation will impact up to three people in need of life-saving transfusions.

Winter Woolies Clothing and Food Drive

October 3-4 on the Plaza.

Help Saint Vincent de Paul provide warm clothing and basic food items for Atlantans in need. A truck will be parked in front of the Cathedral accepting donations after all Masses.
