Solemnity of the Assumption Mass Times

Friday, August 14, 6:00 PM • Saturday, August 15, 8:10 AM

Because the Assumption falls on a Saturday, it is not a Holy Day of Obligation in 2026.

My friends in Christ,

This weekend, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It remembers her assumption into Heaven at the end of her earthly life and anticipates our own reunion with our Heavenly Father at the end of ours.

Yours in Christ,
Monsignor Mc
